Plant Sex Test — Planting from seeds gives a grower a 50% chance knowing if their plants are going to be matured to either female or male. The process of eliminating male plants is contingent on accurately determining the sex by making detailed observations of their growth patterns and quickly removing them away from the females. Within that time frame your male plants have already consumed curtail labor, electricity, and irrigation. By utilizing PhenoXpress male detection tests, we are able to sample each plant from their seedling tray and accurately determine its sex after one week of germination. No need to waste any more energy and costs on males, it’s the females that deserves your attention.

Viroids/Viruses Detection –  Screen your plants from harmful viroids and viruses such as Hop Latent Viroid, Cannabis Cryptic Virus, Lettuce Chlorosis Virus, Beet Curly Virus, and Tobacco Mosaic Virus.  Plants infected with these viruses can cause a significant decrease in cannabinoid content and overall yield.  Prevent a widespread infection with early detection!

Pathogen Screening – An obvious advantaged to growing from clones is that you’re guaranteed to have an all-female grow. However, there is no guarantee that the clone you introduced into your grow doesn’t  have powdery mildew, russet mites, and botrytis. Allow us to screen your clones to make sure you are not introducing infected plants to your grow, and to continue screening plants throughout their life, so you can keep plant pests and pathogens in check!

CBDA Detection Test — Get early feedback on your efforts to breed strains with CBDA. Just one week after germination, our CBDA Detection Test can determine if a plant has the gene needed to produce CBDA. This will help you better select plants with desirable traits that will be used in subsequent crosses. If one or two copies of the active CBDA allele exist, the test will show a positive result. This information will allow you to know that plant has potential CBDA genetics worth breeding and has at least a 50:50 (CBDA:THCA) ratio.

THCA Detection Test — Get early feedback on your efforts to breed strains with THCA. Just one week after germination, our THCA Detection Test can determine if a plant has the gene needed to produce THCA. This will help you better select plants with desirable traits that will be used in subsequent crosses. If one or two copies of the active THCA allele exist, the test will show a positive result. This information will allow you to know that the plant is either a Type I (all THCA) or Type II plant (50:50 CBDA:THCA) effectively ruling out all Type III plants (all CBDA).
